Sure, and it's even possible that Testament's early bootlegs sound better than the original studio recordings: they're *that* bad.

It's just hard for me to digest bad production: it interferes with my ability to enjoy the music. So, even without the youthful energy, FSSD enabled me to better appreciate their work. In fact, I'd say it subsequently enabled me to listen to the original recordings and get more from them.
