This is a consistantly decent album by the Sacramento dudes.
track 3 might be the standout. Only heard it in full once, but the pre-release singles a good number of times.
Listened to it this afternoon; really liked what I heard.

My short week (actually managed to hit a couple days of vacation on the beach!):

Calexico / Iron & Wine – Years to Burn
Crown Lands – s/t
Ghost – Prequelle
Kamelot - Haven
Vly – I/
of these, I know Ghost. not a Kamelot fan.
Rob D was an evangelist for Calexico or something. I never really got into them... as a young man.
I miss Rob D's interesting taste in music. I think of the bands above, you might dig Vly. I don't remember much about their story, but I seem to recall there's a Crippled Black Phoenix connection.

That Crown Lands is pretty interesting...like what Greta Van Fleet might sound like with some maturity and a broader world outlook.
i still only know that GVF was an attempt at a Zep clone. but I already have the only band Robert Plant actually loves in my rotations
Yep, he's always raving about (and covering) Satyricon. :P
