Epica - The Divine Conspiracy (I liked this one)
Ha! I wouldn't have guessed you'd like this one! For some reason I never could get into this band, despite my love for early After Forever.

Daniel Gildenlow et al - PANTHER - one time only so far
I'm staying away from this one unless I see a critical mass of positive reviews...
(For the record, I am the standard PoS fan: loving their stuff up until Remedy Lane or possibly Be, and disappointed by anything that came later).

Heavy rotation:

- Hail Spirit Noir / Eden In Reverse (2020)
Sweet release... yet, half-disappointing compared to the greatness of "Mayhem in Blue". Hopefully they will tone down the "psych" elements again in the future, and bring back some of the aggression of MiB.
The "Solefald song" in the middle of the tracklist really breaks the flow for me.
But as I said, still a very enjoyable effort from one of the most interesting bands out there AFAIC.

- Skogen / Eld (2012)
- Skogen / I Döden (2014)
For some reason I really like Skogen's brand of atmospheric Wodensthrone/Drudkh-esque black metal.

- Vulkan / Technatura (2020)
This exceeded all my expectations!

Checked out:

- Lori Lewis / Carmina Romanus (2020)
Surprise "solo" release from Lori (genesis explained in this interview:
Competent yet fairly non-descript operatic metal.

- Opeth / In Cauda Venenum (2019)
I was never a huge Opeth fan... and probably because of this, I don't get the hate for their current "70s prog" phase.
This latest one is perfectly fine for what it is, I think.

Others from the collection:

- Banco del Mutuo Soccorso / Darwin! (1972)
Probably inspired by the vibe on the intro of "Automata 1980" by Hail Spirit Noir :-) .
