Sepultura - Arise. Got the title track stuck in my head while making the boy's lunch in the morning, and had to listen to exorcise. My first instinct is usually to grab Beneath the Remains, but if that album is a 10, this is a 9.5 at least.
Yeah, most folks seem to love both BtA and Arise. For me, BtA is an all-time classic, while Arise is just great. I always grab BtA.
I'm kinda the same. Arise is still good, but lacks the staying power of BtR.

Forbidden - Twisted Into Form. Right before I got to the office, "Step By Step" came on the Liquid Metal satellite station. Rather than sit in the parking lot and listen, I went inside and gave the whole album a spin. An eternal classic, this one!
I am still shocked folks like you and Blevins bother with radio stations.
Eh, sometimes it sparks you to listen to things you wouldn't have chosen otherwise. It can be very inspirational when you're writing, for instance, to listen to something different.
Megadeth - The System Has Failed. Haven't listened to this in a dog's age, but it's still pretty great! I like it more than anything after Rust in Peace, and really, it's about on par with that album for me.
Yikes. Just yikes.
I wonder what occurs in Big's head when it comes to Megadeth. There's the "Pissed at Metallica" songs, and there's everything else.
Loudness. The only other one I own is Disillusion, a recent acquisition.
Disillusion is great. My personal favorite.
Manitou - Entrance. One of the greatest albums of the first prog metal boom. Needs reissuing, with their demos and non-album tracks!
I wish I liked this as much as everyone else does.
Me too. I've owned it like six times and traded it every time.
