Blind Illusion - Trilogy of Terror demo

Still may be the best thing they ever recorded.
Don't think I've ever heard it?
Blind Guardian - Imaginations From the Other Side

Definitely *is* the best thing they ever recorded.
Agreed! Masterpiece.
Darkwater - Human

Solid prog metal, well written, well performed. So why don't I listen to it more?
Great album. But yeah, I should certainly listen to it more. Same with the new Dream Theater.

Exodus - Blood In, Blood Out

Definitely *not* the best thing they ever recorded, but still pretty solid. "Atrocity Part B" is still the best modern-era Exodus album (excluding "Tempo", which isn't really modern-era as no Altus.)
I'd consider Tempo of the Damned modern era, but I get your point.
Slayer - South of Heaven

Really much better than the lauded "Seasons In the Abyss".
I disagree, but SoH is still fantastic.
Nevermore - Dreaming Neon Black

I get so tired of hearing that "Dead Heart" or "Godless" is their best album from the 7 string guitar crowd. Those idiots have no idea what they're dismissing, as this is easily Loomis' best work.
What's the 7 string crowd? The djenters? Because I think both Dead Heart and Godless Endeavor are their best as well, and actually think Dreaming Neon Black is one of their least good albums. But, that is probably more a comment on how good Nevermore was, as Dreaming Neon Black is still a fantastic album.
Michael Schenker Group - Assault Attack

Great album, but imagine how good it could have been with a little less cocaine...
How many artists became better once they laid off the coke?
