Blind Illusion - Trilogy of Terror demo

Still may be the best thing they ever recorded.

Blind Guardian - Imaginations From the Other Side

Definitely *is* the best thing they ever recorded.

Darkwater - Human

Solid prog metal, well written, well performed. So why don't I listen to it more?

Exodus - Blood In, Blood Out

Definitely *not* the best thing they ever recorded, but still pretty solid. "Atrocity Part B" is still the best modern-era Exodus album (excluding "Tempo", which isn't really modern-era as no Altus.)

UFO - Strangers In The Night

Every time a new Schenker release is talked about, I have to go back and listen to this, the high point of everyone involved's career.

Slayer - South of Heaven

Really much better than the lauded "Seasons In the Abyss".

Jeff Beck Group - Truth

What the first Led Zep album wanted to be when it grew up.

Conception - Flow

Yeah. Still Awesome.

Soft Machine - Softs

Somehow never really listened to these guys. Time to change that.

Jag Panzer - The Age of Mastery

Probably the best band at ProgPower, and this record is hard to argue with.

Anthrax - Persistence of Time

I never really got into this when it came out, because all the songs sound like minimal variations of the same riff. Still, not as bad as I remembered, and of course has one of the greatest cover tunes ever on it.

Nevermore - Dreaming Neon Black

I get so tired of hearing that "Dead Heart" or "Godless" is their best album from the 7 string guitar crowd. Those idiots have no idea what they're dismissing, as this is easily Loomis' best work.

Michael Schenker Group - Assault Attack

Great album, but imagine how good it could have been with a little less cocaine...

Division - Now with more previous members! We're on Facebook, too.
