I was there, rocking my old "Ice Devil- Iced Earth Wants You" shirt.
Damnit. I still want to meet ya. For what it's worth, I had come directly from work in my button-down blue shirt and khakis and was against the rail the entire show near the right stairs.

Is it weird that the member of the band whose political affiliations would veer closest to the Fascist Nazi Right is the member who IS NOT German?
Not really. It's a different world these days. German culture is super allergic to far right.
Also, Jon looked reallly uncomfortable on stage as an old fart. Maybe if there was a rocking chair left out for him.
Looked fine to me. Looked quite into it.
Not sure how often Matt Barlow appeared at the other gigs,or if last night in NYC was a special thing (just for a verse of "I Died For You", one of two IE songs they did, along with Burning Times).
It was nice to see him. He is as timid an individual as ever.

Also, Tyr had awful sound problems,
and were quite goofy and hokey to me, but not as goofy as those whale protestors outside :D
and Lizzy Borden had bad songs
Yeah, no doubt, right - no "Rod of Iron"??? No "Give 'em the Axe"???
At least we got "Redrum"...and "Me Against the World", for what that's worth.
I kinda like the song "Love is A Crime"
but so many stupid costume changes, especially his "I am A Vorlon of Babylon 5" beginning
I actually liked that opening three-face mask, that was kewl. Anyways, part of Lizzy's act have always been theatrics and Elton JohnDavid Bowie/Arthur Brown outfit changes.
I get that. Costume changes are par for the course literally in the Broadway neighborhood

Are you going to King Crimson in Radio City on Saturday?
Much depends on paycheck day this week.
I am going to a concert you probably aren't . . Big Wreck at Gramercy Theater on Sept 19th.
