Celtic Frost: Eh. Celtic Frost aren't one of my favorite bands to begin with, and this is -- well, it's middling. Could be worse; Tom Warrior's voice sometimes makes me want to yell at him like so much Rick Sanchez at an interstellar spa or just go sympathy-barf because of his vomitous delivery, but here he mostly just sounds like a yarling alley cat in frustrated heat.

Conception: Finally got around to this after... a long time on the backlog. So far, feels like a pretty natural follow-on from where they left off with Flow, with the balance tilting a bit harder away from metal and a bit more progressive-y retro-weirdo-pop which works fine for me. It is odd they split the release into "single" and "EP" 'cause if they'd added the single's B-side they could have just sold this as "short reunion album" and got by.

Soen: Another one finally being dredged up from the backlog. Pretty good so far, although it's undeniable they're like the product of some Mamma Mia situation where Tool slept with Opeth and Riverside Back in the Day and isn't sure which one of them's the real father.
