Mark proclaimed:
Schenker played an hour away from me on one of these nights (the night of the 2nd show) but I have a personal policy about seeing bands I've seen before: it has to be as easy or easier to see them later times.
Uhmmm...I woudn't see half the show I did this way :D
The Schenker Fest show I saw here last spring was fantastic, but it was right here in the city, so I didn't want to then drive an hour to see the same thing I had been able to see locally. I do wonder what kind of crowd they drew in that more remote location though.
Old. In any location, hahaha.

A friend of mine who went to two of my listed shows with me is super excited about going to Priest-Heep next weekend. I'll miss that unfortunately but I have seen both Priest and Heep before, so it's not that upsetting.
I'm going again tonight, just got a resale ticket. Heep will supposedly play a different set, cause last night was pretty generic, and I'm only returning just for a chance of "Rainbow Demon" or "Return to Fantasy". Bernie's voice did not hold up too well last night.
Halford's pretty shot; looks like a mix between Sloth and Chunk...
Faulkner does all of the heavy lifting on stage. Good deep cuts, but the execution is not stellar.

I don't know if I'll ever get to see Impelliteri though :(
It's gonna be a bitch, I got a 7 in a morning flight out...But the club is literally 15 minutes away...

Cirith should just hire you to be their hype man at this point :) or at least hook you up with free entry.
Well, I have the official title of Commander in the Legions of Chaos, hahaha. There's a handful of us who's at, I wouldn't say every, but most shows, we all know each other by now. The band is very kind to us, very appreciative. It's gonna be my 10th time.
