Ken played a couple tracks for me and talked me into buying it. He's good at that!
I don't think it takes much effort or skill to get you to buy a CD. ;-)
Jolly - Family. Another good album from this NY crew. Pretty similar to their earlier albums, although this one has some very cheap djent pandering, too. There are a lot of reasons to not want to like Jolly, but in the end they always win me over with their songwriting.
"Ava" rules. I will check out the full album, but their past work has been spotty for me.
Misanthrope - Visionnaire. They had their ups and downs, but Misanthrope made some really interesting music, particularly in the late 90s/early 00s.
Yeah, this is their best, followed by Libertine Humiliations.
