Did you listen to them at the time they came out? Basically they were light years ahead of most other “thrash metal” bands at the time by being both more melodic and more progressive ... I loved their old stuff but with those two albums they went from being a classic MWOBHM band to becoming something very different and unique. “Blaze...”, whole a truly great disc, was just more of the same. Now, the final Pariah disc was horrible, and less said about that one, the better.
Yes, I heard Suspended Sentence and The Kindred back in the day. I thought the songwriting was lacking in a big way, especially on The Kindred. I revisited them at least once in the internet age, and I still could not get into them.

I actually dig Pariah - Unity. It is not as good as their classic material, but it works well enough for me.

The most amazing thing to me is how damn good the two recent Satan albums are. Great stuff.
