Necrophagist - Epitaph. Still godly, even after all the imitators flooded the scene. Well, except for the solos, or should I say solo, because they're all exactly the fucking same.
Yeah, the real quality is the riffs.
Heljareyga - Heljareyga. Tyr, but fast.
I quite like this. Thanks for recommending.

Psychotic Waltz - A Social Grace. I didn't get into PW until they had a few albums out, and for some reason, they never caught on with me when I was younger, but I lov the shit out of their stuff now.
Same. In the '90s it didn't work for me, but now I love it. Go figure.
Jag Panzer - Thane to the Throne, Mechanized Warfare, The Deviant Chord. TDC is not as bad as people are saying. I think it sounds more like early Jag Panzer than their later stuff, but it's well done and to my ears a big improvement over the very dull The Scourge of the Light. While I was at it, I listened to a couple that I rarely reach for. TttT is still too long, and suffers from Harry's overly good enunciation - MacBeth might be a classic play, but it doesn't seem to make for a great rock opera. Mechanized Warfare is excellent, but not as good as the follow-up, Casting the Stones.
"Thane" is my second fav JP album next to "Casting". I like TDC, and it's very much more in the early Panzer style - I don't know if that was intentional, or just a result of playing so much old stuff live.

Harry's vocals don't shine as much as they did when Morris was working with him, though.
