Matt Johnsen proclaimed:
Michael Schenker Group - Assault Attack. Graham Bonnett's finest hour.
I agree
Also, Schenker's.
I think UFO records are for me, but it's definitely one of his best. This and first solo are my MSG favorites.

Diamond Head - Lightning to the Nations. The best NWOBHM album. Only Angel Witch comes close, but since Heybourne can only barely sing,
He's no Freddie Mercury, but I really like his singing, Kai Hansen before Kai Hansen. It fit the music.
and Harris sings like a motherfucker,
DH will always win.
It's a tie: )
As Geoff Barton so memorably wrote, “there are more good riffs in your average single Diamond Head song than there are in the first four Black Sabbath albums.” I'd say you could extend that to include the entire Ozzy-era BS discography.
I never agreed with that famous quote, I think it was an exited exaggeration on the side of Geoff, and it may have seemed that way at the time, but Diamond Head early stuff is indeed top notch.

Alcatrazz - No Parole for Rock 'n Roll. Yngwie's finest hour. Graham Bonnett's second finest (see above.) If you've never seen the video for Island in the Sun, do yourself a favor:
It's alright, but for his best it's Marching Out, Trilogy and the first one for me, on every level. At least you didn't say "Steeler", hahaha.
