Pharaoh - Be Gone
Aw shucks!

Fela Kuti - at least a dozen different albums from the 70s. I loves me some Fela!

Jannick Top - Infernal Machina. Killer solo zeuhl album from the former Magma bassist. I wish he'd record another!

AbsurdĀ² - AbsurdĀ². Crazy 3-song technical thrash EP from this (so far) one-time-only assembly of random dudes from the Endtime Productions label (Extol, Drottnar, etc.)

Mal Waldron - The Call. One of my fave jazz albums.

Sieges Even - A Sense of Change, The Art of Navigating by the Stars. I celebrate their entire discography, even the Christian rock albums.
Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage. Why does it hurt when I pee? Also, I just noticed how eerily similar Howard Stern's pervy cant is to Buddy Jones' emceeing at the wet t-shirt contest. It's uncanny. I wonder if this was actually an influence on Stern, or if Stern just happens to be the cliched scumbag that Zappa is (presumably) mocking? Anyway, this was my first Zappa and will always be one of my faves, even if Acts 2 and 3 can't really hang with Act 1.

Coroner - No More Color. Never gets old!

Forbidden - Twisted Into Form. Also never gets old!

Thin Lizzy - Bad Reputation. This is a great album, but I like the few before it so much that I rarely go for this one.

Leprous - Malina. Still a daily listen.

Holst - The Planets. I'm reading Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy at night, and this felt appropriate.
