Mew - Visuals. Another stunner from the best band in the world. Maybe not quite as good as + -, but still utterly fantastic. This band can do no wrong. Well, except for No More Stories, which was mostly wrong.
I was not aware that this was out, not that I really care, I did not care too much for what I heard off +/-. Oh well, I always have Frengers and GHK.
Yeah, you won't like it. It's even spacier than + -, although there is some interesting guitar work. That surprised me, what with the departure of Bo.
Hooffoot - Hooffoot. Mindblowing kosmigroov fusion that sounds straight out of 1972 but was actually recorded in 2014. Ken pushed this on me and I expected it to be decent but not much better, since modern jazzrock usually doesn't do much for me, but I was floored. Highest recommendation to jazz fans!
How does this compare to Fontanelle?
It's not as good, but it's also kind of different. More Weather Report than Bitches Brew.
Where is the CS/Pharaoh Obliveon 7"?
I guess there is Access to the Acropolis for Canvas to do, but it would be hard for a native English seeker to convincingly sing Obliveon lyrics. Can you imagine Tim singing, "in-TRICK-a-SEE" or "dy-NAH-MO"
Tears of Euphony - Progression Sadness Death, In Na'túra. Great one-man melodic death metal from the late 90s. In dire need of reissue. I've been trying to acquire these discs for like 10 years, since John Frank turned me on to them. I finally succeeded. Go me?
Hook a brutha up, sir!
Look for an email shortly!
