Mastodon - Emperor of Sand
I like it ok, but I am still perplexed at how these guys are "mainstream" or "popular."

Mastodon - Live at Brixton
At least via MP3 in the car, this sounds like shit.

Rainbow - Live in Munich 1977
Man, this band was awesome during the Dio years. This particular set features Dio, Blackmore, Powell, Daisley, and some random dude on keyboards. They don't make music like this anymore!

Overkill - The Grinding Wheel
I held off a bit buying this, but in a weak moment, pulled the iTunes trigger. It's latter-day Overkill. It's pretty good, I suppose, but if you have any of the last three or four, you really don't need it.

Galactic Cowboys - The Horse that Bud Bought
Though not remotely touching their first three, it's still enjoyable.

Watched a few YouTube concerts, too. Saw a few Rainbow clips, which inspired me to pull out the Munich show referenced above and also a Dio/Sabbath show from 92 on the Dehumanizer tour. It's easy to go down the YT rabbit hole if you're not careful...
