This has lots of electrifying moments, but also a lot of pop sheen. I prefer more Led Zep in my BW than Coldplay
Sepultura - Machine Messiah
A vast improvement sonically as well as in songwriting on this record. They weren't afraid to add a lot of cool elements including middle eastern strings, orchestral arrangements, and some melodic vocals too. I hear echoes of lots of previous records from as far back as Schizophrenia to Arise to Roots to Roorback to Dante XXI to present.
Kreator - half of Gods of Violence
I checked out 4 or 5 tracks. It's good, but...as someone else mentioned, it seems a bit too overpolished.
Death - Symbolic
An oldie but goodie. I'm working on a new classical orchestration of "Perennial Quest" so I am consulting the source.
Gruesome - "Fragments of Psyche" (single) - Human-era Death worship featuring Sean Reinert! Spot on!
