Awesome haul! What do you consider to be the best fest you've ever shopped for music? Your Japan story was one that makes me want to go there. I'd probably need a personal plane to get all the stuff I'd buy back home!!!

I'd love to go to a fest in Germany just for the metal market - I'm sort of in the same boat, as I'm hunting down a ton of rarities to fill in my collection, but I've been heavily into vinyl over the last year or so and have been re-buying things I sold for $2 at the local record store in the 90s, as well as a lot of reissues - Still had about 900 left from the initial 2500 I had at my peak in the late 80s. I'm lucky my wife is supportive of my habit as I think I've bought almost 200 albums since the beginning of 2016 and got 90 albums over RSD weekend in Rochester and Utica, NY where we went to 10 stores over 3 days...

I've also been selling a lot of CDs and found a gem in my collection that sold for $300 within 2 minutes of me listing it on Discogs:

I probably picked that one up at Rhino in Albany in the early 90s for $2 as I don't even remember buying it. Stuff like that helps to support my habit.
