Musically, I don't even equate them with stoner bands. I just think their albums sound old school, and that warmer sound suits them well.
I agree. The only tr00 stoner album I enjoy is Mustasch - Latest Version of the Truth, and even that has a good deal of more upbeat Volbeat type of material.
