In my opinion, I think it's all about Western, and particularly American, family values being pretty much the opposite of values in most other places in the world. I discovered this when I first visited Asia. As a result, I haven't dated an American woman since 1994.

I would not be surprised if America has the highest,or one of the highest divorce rates in the world..
People date and marry for all the wrong reasons here,whether it being a young hottie dating a status symbol dude with $$ knowing he will treat her like shit and cheat on her,thinking she can change him,or the desperate late 30 somethings settling and marrying because "well,we can't find anyone else that is better,time is running out,but hey,at least we both like metal)
I'm 40 and over the whole concept that I will ever find the right one in this country,I'm more than happy with the hot randoms I get lately,and the Ulranian booty call that I see once or twice a year(if she by some miracle ever gets her student visa she will be the one for me,or hell,at this point I have not counted out moving to Europe for her)
