It's better than the last 2, for sure. Still like the debut the best.

3.ORPHANED LAND – The Never Ending Way Of OrWarrior

Didn't know they had a new one out. Will check it out.

4.LEPROUS – Tall Poppy Syndrome

Great disc. Got tons of play when it came out, but has slid to the backburner. I still put it on once in a while, but it should be more often. I wish they'd properly release their back catalog.

6.CANDLEMASS – Death Magic Doom

I can't remember if I tried this one. I just think they've lost something without Messiah, so I've quit paying attention.

7.MASTODON – Crack The Skye

Yeah, it's a toss-up whether I like this more than Blood Mountain or not (probably not), but it's a great disc.

8.DREAM THEATER – Black Clouds & Silver Linings

Meh. First time I didn't even bother listening, based on their first single release.

10.OBSCURA – Cosmogenesis

Agreed. This and Gorod are the only tech-death discs I like this year, I think.

11.PERSEFONE – Shin-Ken

I like it well enough. Is it released anywhere I can buy it for a reasonable price yet?

12.SLOUGH FEG – Ape Uprising

Better than the last couple, but I've grown tired of the repetition. I really only put on Traveller any more.

I'm surprised we have that many in common.
